Camera Design Capabilities
VIA´s Camera Design capabilities are in the Philippines, having know-how and experience in the design and qualification of automotive and industrial cameras since 2007. The competencies include mechanical, thermos-mechanical, electrical and optical design capabilities.
Manufacturing with Partners
The manufacturing of industrial and automotive cameras is outsourced to qualified EMS partners, where VIA is in close cooperation to bring customized design to mass production. VIA partners have TS-16949-certified camera production facilities, using semi-automated processes for SMT assembly, active alignment, and end-of-line testing. They also have a Chip-on-Board (COB) process for bare die image sensor assembly.

One of our advantages is the in-house design and deployment of production testers:

- In-circuit testers
- Stray-light testers
