VIA optronics Helps Children in Poverty-Stricken Chinese Villages

Altdorf, Germany August 8, 2017 – For VIA optronics, a leading supplier of display solutions and systems, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is very important. Recently, a group of employees from VIA Suzhou, led by COO Rick Bu, went to visit the villagers in the poverty-stricken Guhe and Chenxiaozhai villlages.

The goal of this visit was to help children from the region’s poorest families. The children in Zhanglaozhuang Primary School accepted books, toys and stationary from VIA Suzhou’s employees, as well as table lamps and umbrellas. On the next day, VIA employees visited the village administration, and helped the 10 poorest families in the region, distributing prepared goods to villagers who need urgent help.

“Solutions for a better life is our motto. Our efforts this time are only a beginning and we look forward to helping more villagers in the future,” said Rick Bu from VIA Suzhou.
